The concept of leys is, at best, controversial and, at worst (in my opinion), nonsense. So, what are Leys and do they exist? Leys - a brief history. Alfred Watkins, in his book "The Old Straight Track" saw alignments in a rather different way to those postulated by many in the last 20-30 years. And rather more reasonably in my mind.
